As parents, caregivers and teachers, we all want what’s best for our children. But it can be hard to know how to talk to them about climate change and the future.
Climate anxiety in young people is rising, many are worried about what the climate crisis will mean for their future. As adults, we can play a key role – both in taking action ourselves – but also to help our children cope with the emotional impacts of a changing climate.
Eco Action Families is part of the “Our Kids Climate’ network who have provided this downloadable guide which provides recommendations for how you can become better at meeting young people’s questions, feelings and commitment to the climate.
Talk to children about the climate crisis – a guide for parents and other adults.
Eco Action Families has organised the funding for every secondary school in Brighton & Hove to have a licence for the inspiring environmental film ‘2040’
Damon Gameau takes us on an aspirational journey to discover what the future could look like if we simply embraced the best that exists today. This is the narrative the next generation needs to see, to aspire to, and to believe is possible! #2040
